Highest Scoring FPL assets so far
The 2023/24 FPL season is now nearly a third of the way in. With 12 gameweeks completed managers are now getting a good understanding of the best assets to own. Here we take a look at the highest scoring FPL assets so far and whether they are still good owns,
Mo Salah (£13.0m) became the first player to register 100 points so far this season. He leads the way as the highest scoring FPL assets so far this season.
Salah is five points ahead of Erling Haaland (£14.0m) who is the second highest scoring player this season.
Mo Salah (£13.0m)
Salah has registered 14 attacking returns so far this season from 10 goals and four assists. He has also returned four clean sheet points as well as 14 bonus points and five double digit returns. Salah also has a nice run of fixtures to come after the international break, with the exception of the Man City fixture in Gameweek 13.
Erling Haaland (£14.0m)
Haaland has registered 16 attacking returns so far this season. The forward has returned 13 goals and three assists in the opening matches of the season. Last season’s highest scoring player has also registered 14 bonus points, and now has four double digit returns this season. Managers should be mindful of the upcoming blank Gameweek 18 however.
Son Heung-min (£9.7m)
Son had a difficult start to the season failing to return in Spurs’ opening three fixtures. However he is now the third highest scoring player in the game with 82 points to date. Son has nine attacking returns so far from eight goals and one assist. He has also returned four clean sheet points and 11 bonus points. He has four double digit hauls so far. However, with Spurs losing James Maddison to injury until the new year Son’s creative supply line will be reduced.
Ollie Watkins (£8.4m)
Watkins has 14 attacking returns so far this season. He was so far scored six goals and assisted his team-mates eight times. Alongside this he has also returned a further nine bonus points giving him a total of 80 points so far. Watkins has two double digit hauls during the 2023/24 season to date.
Jarrod Bowen (£7.7m)
Bowen has crept into the top highest scoring players so far this season very quietly. The midfielder has nine attacking returns so far this season from eight goals and one assist. He has also returned a clean sheet point as well as eight bonus points. Bowen has one double digit haul in the league this season. Bowen is part of the captaincy conversation for Gameweek 13 with Salah and Haaland playing each other.
