Best differentials for Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 6

Last modified date

The new season of German football continues which means the Fantasy game does too. Because of this we take a look at the best differentials for Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 6 with the help of our expert manager and contributor @FPLPlatinum.

Looking at the best differentials for Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 6 can be extremely beneficial for managers. Differentials are lowly owned players that if successful can help you gain rank and an edge over you mini-league rivals.

GK – Oliver Baumann – 9.1m, 10% owned, Dortmund (H)

The Hoffenheim man has been essential to their strong start this season. Averaging 5.6 saves per game, Baumann has been excellent for fantasy point gain and his team overall. He has averaged 11 points per game – exceptional value for his price – and is up against a Dortmund team who aren’t afraid to take shots but have also had finishing troubles as of late.

It’s the perfect opportunity for Baumann owners to rack up save points, and maybe even a haul if Hoffenheim manage to keep a CS. A safe and consistent player, Baumann is only slightly more expensive than the popular Blaswich.

DEF – Noussair Mazraoui – 11.9m, 3% owned, RB Leipzig (A)

Don’t let the fixture fool you. Mazraoui is in excellent form, and a differential to consider while he’s in this red hot streak. He’s a cheaper alternative to Davies at 11.9m, and Bayern will rely on Mazraoui while he’s in form and match-fit. Fresh from a 25 point haul vs Bochum, there’s nothing to suggest Mazraoui is slowing down anytime soon, and he provides a cheaper way into the Bayern defence!

MID – Marco Reus – 13.3m, 2% owned, Hoffenheim (A)

The Dortmund captain and legend has long since been a Bundesliga Fantasy favourite. For years, he’s provided consistent returns for a relatively favourable price. This season, he’s been reduced in price and sits at 13.3m, as injuries plagued his recent career. The legend is now back in action and back in form. Reus has notched up two consecutive Bundesliga starts, scoring in both.

Reus has a favourable fixture in Hoffenheim, despite their good form, Dortmund remain the favourites. The German has scored or assisted in his last three fixtures vs Hoffenheim, and Terzic will look to take advance of his record at the weekend. A good player to consider if you’re struggling for midfield picks.

FWD – Ermedin Demirovic – 10.3m, 2% owned, Freiburg (A)

The 25 year old has a return in every single Bundesliga game bar one (3-0 loss to RB Leipzig). His six G/A in five games shows he’s in form and consistent enough to keep ticking along with returns. He’s averaging 11 points a game and is fresh from a 17 point haul vs Mainz 05, grabbing both goals in an impressive 2-1 win.

The Bosnian has a slightly trickier fixture away to Freiburg. However, his form speaks for itself and managers shouldn’t scrutinise the fixture too much as Freiburg themselves only have seven points from five games. Both teams will be aiming to win due to their increasingly precious positions, and Augsburg will be increasingly determined to win games such as these.
