FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 7

We take a look at some of the FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 7. With the new Gameweek approaching, we check out what some of the most elite managers have been talking about in the build up whether that be players to invest in, players to avoid and more.

Looking at what some of the FPL experts ahead of Gameweek 7 are talking about could be highly beneficial to other managers. Whether they discuss expected minutes, potential transfer targets, chip strategy or other key factors, it can all help to provide clarity within our own teams.

@Greyhead19

Fantasy Football Scout contributor Greyhead displayed some very interesting stats this week. He touched upon several different options and two of whom play for Crystal Palace. They had a great opportunity this week against Fulham – the worst team in the league for big chances conceded.

Crystal Palace went into their match as heavy favourites and both midfielder Eberechi Eze and Striker Odsonne Edouard were tipped to pick up a return. That wasn’t to be as Eze flopped to his fifth blank of the season whilst striker Edouard failed to secure a fourth return of the campaign whilst also picking up an injury. With tough fixtures ahead managers could now be looking to come off the Crystal Palace attackers.

@FPLReaction

Fantasy Football Scout and Fantasy Football Community contributor Louis asked an interesting question to the community this week. Luton have a double Gameweek in Gameweek 7 and many within the community are unsure on whether to take the risk with their assets.

One player in particular could be the most popular if any. Luton striker Carlton Morris looks set to hit more points than any other player this week. In his most recent match against Wolves he also claimed a cool nine points for his goal and bonus. With Everton and Burnley ahead, it could be a great opportunity to bring him in for the round ahead.

@Pras_fpl

Fantasy Football Scout contributor Pras has had some misfortune with transfers over the last several rounds. His latest frustration came from Manchester City’ Julian Alvarez. The Striker became the most transferred in player this week after his performances in both Gameweek 6 and the Champions League.

Manchester City beat Nottingham Forest 2-0, even with 10 men after Rodri’ red card. Unfortunately although Erling Haaland managed to get on the score sheet Alvarez did not. Not only did Alvarez fail to return but he also came off before the 60th minute. Manchester City face Wolves next up then Arsenal, Brighton and Manchester United so some will be monitoring their new signing closely already.

@FPL_Sonaldo

Another Fantasy Football Scout contributor highlighted a key performance this week. The Manchester United assets were under the microscope within the community due to their inconsistency and their team form in general.

Manchester United came up against Burnley this week and many thought it could be a big opportunity for midfielders Bruno Fernandes and Marcus Rashford to pick up some points. The game ended 1-0 to the Reds and it was the former who won the game for his side whilst also claiming a 10-point return. Manchester United have some good fixtures ahead but many will be questioning if the double up or even owning one of their attackers is truly worth it.

@FPLMarcin

FPL content creator Marcin was as funny as ever this week. He picked up on the consistency of one player in particular. Wolves played Luton in Gameweek 6 which was seen as a big match for potential for the likes of midfielder Pedro Neto.

Pedro Neto became one of the most wanted players in FPL ahead of last season. That same hype fell flat after failing to meet expectations. However, this season could be his year. Pedro Neto hit his fourth return in a row after securing nine points against the Hatters this week. Neto has a game against Manchester City next up so managers could wait to invest ahead of some good fixtures.
