Serie A Fantasy top picks for Round 4
Italian League football continues and with that so does the fantasy football game. With that in mind we take a look at the Serie A Fantasy top picks for Round 4 with the help of our expert and regular contributor @FPL_Crisk.
The Twitter community is full of some of the best fantasy managers in the world so catching up with our experts Serie A Fantasy top picks for Round 4 could be crucial. Knowing which players have the most potential could help confirm decisions in our own teams as we head towards the deadline.
Goalkeepers – Marco Silvestri (€4.8m – 2.5%)
Cagliari are the team who have created the least amount of xG so far this season. This makes the Udinese goalkeeper a clear favourite for the clean sheet points in the Round ahead.
Łukasz Skorupski (€4.8m – 6.9%)
Bologna have conceded in each game until now (facing Milan and Juve in the first two fixtures hasn’t helped them). What also makes the Verona fixture a tasty one for a defensive player like Skorupski is that Bologna tend to play a possession oriented style, just like most top teams. This leads to a higher chance of getting clean sheets against weaker sides since they will control most of the ball.
Defenders – Giovanni Di Lorenzo (€7.4m – 29.3%)
Di Lorenzo is the highest scoring defender in the game. I would field him in any fixture, no matter how tough. Furthermore, Napoli face newly promoted Genoa, who are the second lowest team in the league for xG. Di Lorenzo might also be a good captaincy shout.
Perr Schuurs (€4.8m – 10.1%)
Torino have to face Saleritana (third worst xG) this Round. Funnily enough the reason Schuurs is on this list is not just because of the favourable defensive matchup. The Dutch defender has also scored one of the only two goals from his side, and leads the whole team in terms of xG!
Midfielder – Domenico Berardi (€10.0m – 7.2%)
He missed the first two Rounds but he came back and immediately set the highest score if the week (18 points). Berardi now also travels to Frosinone, whose home team have not performed badly until now. However, I don’t think it will be enough to stop an on fire Berardi. He is also a great captaincy shout.
Riccardo Orsolini (€7.6m – 5.1%)
He just missed a penalty and hasn’t had exactly the most gametime available. However, he still is the talisman of his team and has just extended his contract. Also, Verona just conceded three goals, two of which from Berardi (who plays in a similar position and is also on penalty duty).
Forwards – Victor Osimhen (€12.0m – 74.2%)
As I said earlier in the season, expect to see Osimhen here a lot. With tough matchups for other strong sides (Inter – Milan, Fiorentina – Atalanta, Juventus – Lazio), the Nigerian is most definitely the standout captaincy option for this Round.
Romelu Lukaku (€9.0m – 0.7%)
From a certainty to a big question mark. Lukaku will debut from the first minute for Roma this weekend, supported by a great creator in Paulo Dybala. He has shown in the past that with his physicality he can dominate Serie A. His first test against bottom of the table Empoli will be crucial to see what to expect from the Belgian under Mourinho. A bit of fun for managers who love to risk to get an early lead.
