Highest scoring differentials in each position

With the international break upon us we can start looking back and reflecting upon the season so far. With that in mind, using the Official Fantasy Premier League website we focus on the highest scoring differentials in each position.

Lowly owned players are a great way to get ahead of your competition. This is one of the biggest benefits of checking out the highest scoring differentials in each position so far. Most have gone completely under the radar amongst some of the best managers in the world so lets take a look.

Goalkeepers

The highest scoring goalkeeper regardless of ownership is in fact Guglielmo Vicario (£5.1m – 4.9% ownership). The Tottenham man has amassed a huge 21 points so far picking up two clean sheets in four matches. His biggest return came against Manchester United where he managed 11 points due to his clean sheet, six saves and three bonus.

The second second highest scoring goalkeeper with under under 10% ownership is Jose Sa (£5m – 1.4% ownership). The Wolves number one has collected a cool 17 points. Most of his returns come from an 11-pointer against Everton in Gameweek 3 where he bagged a clean sheet, made seven saves and racked up all three bonus.

Defenders

The highest scoring defender with under 10% ownership so far is Joachim Anderson (£4.6m – 7.4% ownership). The Crystal Palace centre-back has banked a massive 23 points already. His biggest return came against Brentford in Gameweek 3 where he scored a goal and picked up all three bonus. His second biggest return was in Gameweek 1 where he finished the match with nine points after his clean sheet and bonus.

Chelsea centre-back Axel Disasi (£5.1m – 7.3% ownership) was the second highest scoring defender under 10% owned. Disasi sits on 19 points so far. The majority of his points came from his 11-point return against Liverpool where he scored and bagged all bonus and his 6-point return against Luton in Gameweek 3.

Midfielders

Not only is Jarrod Bowen (£7.1m – 9.8% ownership) the highest scoring differential midfielder in the game but he also sits as the second highest midfielder in the game in general. Bowen has amassed a whopping 30 points so far this season. His points came from three of his first four matches with his biggest return coming against Brighton in Gameweek 3 after hitting 12 points for his goal, assist and two bonus.

Son Heung-min (£9.1m – 9.6% ownership) is the second biggest returner amongst the midfielders under 10% owned. The Tottenham man managed most of his points in a single game where he roped in 20 points after scoring three goals and collecting three bonus. It is also worth noting that Son blanked in his first three matches.

Forwards

Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi (£6.6m – 4.5% ownership) isn’t just the joint highest scoring player with under 10% ownership but he is also the joint third highest scoring forward in the game. So far Awoniyi has managed 25 points in FPL. Most of his points are spread between all four matches played after picking up a return in all of them.

Sitting at the the top with Awoniyi is Evan Ferguson (£6m – 7.6% ownership). The Irishman did pick up a five point-return in Gameweek 1 against Luton. However, 17 of his points came against Newcastle where netted three goals and banked three bonus.
