Bundesliga football is edging closer and because of this we take a look at the Bundesliga Fantasy key player prices. Helping us highlight some of the best player price-tags in the game is expert manager @FPLPlatinum (Ross).

Highlighting some of the Bundesliga Fantasy key player prices can be really useful to fantasy managers. Not only does it give us a great idea of how our first drafts could look but is also helps with long-term planning involving transfers.

Vincenzo Grifo – 15m – Freiberg – 296 points

Freiberg’s Grifo managed 15 goals and five assists last season as he finished as the second highest scorer in Bundesliga. He also managed nearly 300 points, making him one of the highest point scorers in the league.

Grifo stayed fairly consistent throughout the season and would occasionally haul, especially if Freiberg got multiple penalties. He took eight penalties and scored seven, which massively boosted his points and justified his price tag. While he comes in at a steep 15m, Grifo will still be a player to keep a firm eye on for the 23/24 season.

Niclas Füllkrug – 14m – Werder Bremen – 276 points

Nicklas Füllkrug was an asset who started cheap and became an essential for all managers’ teams as he finished as the joint top scorer in the Bundesliga with 16 goals – joint with Chelsea’s new marksman, Christopher Nkunku.

Füllkrug had only managed three goals in his last 11 Bundesliga games. However, an injury would’ve limited his goalscoring prowess during this time. It’s unclear if Füllkrug will remain at Werder Bremen – but if he does, he will for sure remain the marksman for the team and can still be an option for 14m if he maintains his form from last season.

Alphonso Davies – 15m – Bayern – 229 points

The joint-most expensive defender again, Alphonso Davies, had an underwhelming campaign last year from a fantasy point-of-view considering his price and ownership. The Canadian international will hope for a change of fate this time round under Tuchel.

Bayern were massively disappointing in the second half of last season, just managing to scrape the league title on the final day after BVB slipped up to Mainz. Davies will likely be in a lot of teams come MD1 given his team and the fact that he’s likely to still be nailed.

Kolo Muani – 15m – Frankfurt – 307 points

Frankfurt would have been disappointed to narrowly miss out on European football last season and losing the DFB-POKAL final, but Kolo Muani can be very proud of his season. The Frenchman would make his debut at the World Cup and rack up 26 goals and assists in the Bundesliga – the best in the league.

His price is a steep one, as he is now the joint-most expensive player in the game. It’ll be intriguing to see what business Frankfurt conduct in the market, but if Kolo Muani can maintain his impressive form, then his price will be fully justified for the season to come.

Jonas Hofmann – 15m – Borussia Münchengladbach – 312 points

The top scoring player in the Bundesliga last season, Hoffman gained infamy for being a player who would haul when sold by the masses and blank when he was expected to haul. He played for an up-and-down Borussia Münchengladbach team managed by now sacked Daniel Farke.

It’ll be interesting to see how he plays under his new manager and without Marcus Thuram. If he keeps penalties and continues being the emphasis in attack, the German international looks to be a good asset for the coming season.

Mitchell Weiser – 10m – Werder Bremen – 235 points

The best bargain asset from last season, Mitchell Weiser, has been given an expected price rise to 10m. Amassing two goals and nine assists last season as a defender, Mitchell was essential at his price. His total point score of 235 points was one of the highest among defenders – even more than the most expensive defender, Alphonso Davies.

Unfortunately, the appeal of Weiser was largely his price, especially as he was prone to negative scoring games due to the fact that Werder Bremen lost several games heavily last season. He will still be a player to keep a keep eye on, and if he continues his scoring form from last year, he could be an option even at 10m.
