Kai Havertz edges closer to Arsenal
Fabrizio Romano confirms that Kai Havertz has completed the first part of his medical tests as a new Arsenal player. The deal will be completed this week and the German looks set to join from Chelsea. Rumours suggest that Arsenal could use him in a central midfield role.
The move could be an interesting one for both sides but it also opens up room for someone to lead the frontline at Chelsea. The Blues have struggled in front of goal all season, partly due to Havertz so FPL managers could be keenly monitoring to see who replaces the German as the focal point.
Kalidou Koulibaly leaves Chelsea
Fabrizio Romano also confirmed that Chelsea defender Kalidou Koulibaly joined Saudi Arabia side Al Hilal. The deal is worth €23m and he will join his new side on a three year deal. Chelsea signed Kalidou Koulibaly after a fantastic period of performances for Napoli. However, after a poor run of form the Blues have decided to part ways.

The 22-year striker picked up an impressive 12 goals and four assists in La Liga last season. There is a possibility he could lead Chelsea’ offensive line for the new season so his FPL price-tag could be an interesting factor for fantasy managers.
Josko Gvardiol to Manchester City?
As Fabrizio Romano states, Manchester City will keep working on the Josko Gvardiol deal. Personal terms have also been agreed between the club and player. Leipzig are asking for at least €100m. Gvardiol has become one of the most appealing centre-backs in Europe as of late.
Impressing for club and country Gvardiol will almost certainly improve the Manchester City defence. This makes the English side even more investable form a defensive point of view.
Lucas Hernandez to PSG?
Could Lucas Hernandez be on his way to French giants PSG? Fabrizio Romano confirms that a verbal agreement is in place between PSG and Hernandez. Bayern have given an ultimatum in which the player will either extend his contract or leave.
PSG have struggled defensively for some years and correcting that could be key to pursuing their Champions League dream. Hernandez can play in both a centre-back and left-back role so would provide plenty of versatility for PSG.
