Premier League fixtures for 23/24
We take a look at the Premier League fixtures for 23/24. The official season schedule is now available to view. FPL managers can now check out each teams fixtures for the entire season and start their long term planning for the campaign ahead.
Looking at the Premier League fixtures for 23/24 can be extremely useful to FPL managers. The schedule can help with a range of different things. From planning captaincy and transfers to identifying fixture swings and also planning a chip strategy.
The full schedule
Manchester City
The 22/23 champions come into the new season as favourites. FPL managers will also be keen to invest in their assets for the 23/24 campaign. Their standout option Erling Haaland finished last season as the highest scoring player in the game with a whopping 272 points.
Manchester City will face Burnley (away), Newcastle (home), Sheffield United (away), Fulham (home) and West Ham (away) in their first five fixtures.
Arsenal
Arsenal were fantastic last season and sat at the top of the table for large parts of the campaign. In fact, their assets became some of the highest owned in FPL. Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli all became some of the highest scoring players in the game.
The London club will face Nottingham Forest (home), Crystal Palace (away), Fulham (home), Man United (home) and Everton (away) in their first five matches.
Manchester United and Newcastle United
Both Manchester United and Newcastle had brilliant campaign with the latter being the biggest surprise. Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford was their standout asset with 17 goals and five assists. He, along with his team will face Wolves (home), Tottenham (away), Nottingham Forest (home), Arsenal (away) and Brighton (home) in their first five games.
Newcastle became one of the best teams to invest in in the 22/23 season. In fact, full-back Kieran Trippier became the highest scoring defender in the game with 198 points. Can he repeat that feat with games against Aston Villa (home), Man City (away), Liverpool (home), Brighton (away) and Brentford (home) in his sides first five fixtures.
The promoted sides
Burnley topped the Championship in their record breaking 22/23 season. Although rhetoric suggests that they play in a defensive style, manager Vincent Kompany has turned promoted side into a convincing attacking unit. They will play Manchester City (home), Luton (away), Aston Villa (home), Tottenham (home) and Nottingham Forest (away) in their first five matches.
Sheffield United were also convincing in their promotion winning season. The Blades will come up against Crystal Palace (home), Nottingham Forest (away), Manchester City (home), Everton (home) and Tottenham (away) in the first five games.
Luton gained promotion through the play-offs and although less consistent as Burnley and Sheffield United, their assets could still reflect value in the season ahead. They will play Brighton (away), Burnley (home), Chelsea (away), West Ham (home) and Fulham (away) .in their first five fixtures,
