Fixtures

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United have a great double Gameweek this week. They face two inconsistent offensive sides in Bournemouth and Chelsea. To highlight their inconsistencies in front of goal, Bournemouth rank as the worst in the league for attempts on goal this season (341) whilst Chelsea in the last six Gameweeks rank second worst for expected goal scored (5.09).

Because of the above and the fact that Manchester United have kept more clean sheets than any other team in the division this season (16), it could be worth investing in their backline. One of the cheapest and most reliable options in the Manchester United defence is Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£4.3m).

Brighton

Brighton have been fantastic all season and that can be reflected in both their defensive and offensive data. More recently, defensively, in the last six Gameweeks when compared to all teams Brighton rank joint first for clean sheets (three) and amongst the best five teams for key data points like big chances conceded and shots on target conceded.

The cheapest way into the Brighton backline is via Jason Steele (£4m). The man between the sticks looks to have solidified his first team position. Steele has also banked four returns in his last five matches. Full-back Pervis Estupinan (£4.9m) should also be considered after amassing a whopping 17 points in one of his most recent matches.

The Brighton frontline has been very successful this season aswell. More recently, in the last six Gameweeks they rank first for attempts (122), first for shots in the box (82), second for big chances total (25) and first for shots on target (42).

With plenty of great budget friendly options Brighton have become one of the most investable sides in the game. Some of their great assets include midfielders Kaoru Mitoma (£5.7m), penalty taker Alexis Mac Allister (£5.6m) and Pascal Groß (£5.4m).

Chelsea

Chelsea have been in very poor form. However, after winning four points from a possible six in the last two matches, things could be on the up. The Blues lack of form and key injuries has opened up the door for rotation. This has meant that some of their youngest and cheaper options in FPL have been racking up the minutes.

The fact they have a double Gameweek makes their assets much more appealing. One of the cheapest routes into their defence is Trevoh Chalobah (£4.4m). The former centre-back turned right-back under manager Frank Lampard has started the last two matches for the Blues.

One of the cheapest options in the Chelsea frontline is Noni Madueke (£5.4m). The youngster seems to have gained the trust of the new manager after starting the last three Premier League matches. Madueke also picked up a goal in one of his most recent matches against Arsenal.
