Looking at some of the best budget players for Gameweek 34 can be hugely beneficial to FPL managers. Cheap players help enable funds elsewhere within our fantasy teams which also aids fitting in the more pricier options in the game.

Fixtures

Brighton

Firstly, Brighton have a double Gameweek this week which makes their assets even more appealing than they were already. To reinforce their appeal, offensively this season they sit amongst the best four teams in the league for attempts on goal (472), big chances total (91) and shots on target (179). Some of their best attacking options include Solly March (£5.3m) who edges his offensive teammates for non-penalty expected goal involvement in the last six Gameweeks (3.15). Another great option in the offensive line is Kaoru Mitoma (£5.6m). The Japanese international has managed five returns in his last 10 games.

Brighton are almost as impressive defensively than they are offensively. This season they rank amongst the best four teams for shots in the box conceded (211), total shots conceded (286), shots on target conceded (99) and big chances conceded (46). The cheapest way into the back-line is goalkeeper Jason Steele who comes in at a jaw dropping £3.8m. Other great enabling options include full-back Pervis Estupinan (£4.8m) and centre-back Lewis Dunk (£4.8m).

Aaron Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United also have a double Gameweek this week. They face Aston Villa and Brighton which could be tough but the fact that the Reds have more clean sheets than any other team this season (14), makes their defensive assets more worthy of selection.

One of the cheapest ways into the Manchester United defence is Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£4.3m). Not only has the full-back cemented his position in the first team but he also leads his defensive teammates for non-penalty expected goal involvement in the last six Gameweeks (1.13).

Vladimir Coufal

West Ham have two matches this week. They play Crystal Palace and Manchester City. Although struggling near the bottom end of the table the Hammers have picked up some form as of late. Defensively, West Ham have managed to bag three clean sheets in their last six Gameweeks.

Because of their defensive uptake in form and their double Gameweek, it could be worth squeezing one of their cheap defenders in. One of the cheapest ways into the backline is Vladimir Coufal who is priced at just £4m. Not only is Coufal assured for minutes after starting the last three league games but he also banked an 11-point return in one of his most recent games.

Dominic Solanke

Bournemouth may play just one game in Gameweek 34, but that match is against Leeds. In the last six Gameweeks amongst all teams in the league Leeds rank the worst for goals conceded (21) and the worst for big chances conceded (23). This highlights them as a team to target.

The standout Bournemouth option and potentially the best budget striker in the game at the moment is Dominic Solanke (£5.6m). Not only is he the focal point to the attack but he also takes his sides penalties. To further his appeal, in the last six games amongst all players in the league he also ranks joint first for attempts on goal (25), first for shots in the box (24) and joint fourth for big chances total (five).
