Best FPL strikers on unlimited transfers

The English Premier League is back! With the help of the fixture ticker and key underlying stats from the Fantasy Football Scout members area, we take a look at some of the best FPL strikers on unlimited transfers.

Taking a look at the best strikers on unlimited transfers can be hugely beneficial to managers. This season there has been a surge of performing forwards and finding the best can help with key decisions like transfers and captaincy.

Note: Erling Halaand is a given and should be in every team going into Gameweek 17.

Darwin Nunez

Liverpool have been improving as of late. In fact, amongst all teams in the league, in the last six matches, they rank first for total attempts on goal, first for shots in the box, first for big chances total and first for shots on target.

With injuries to Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez (£9m) looks set to become nailed in the front line. Although his start to life at Liverpool could have been better, his recent form is extremely appealing. In his last three matches for the reds, Nunez has scored four goals and created an assist. With some great fixtures ahead against the likes of Aston Villa and Brentford, it could be a great time to bring him into our fantasy teams.

Aleksander Mitrovic

Fulham may be a newly promoted side but it is clear they can score goals. In fact, Fulham have only failed to score on two occasions so far this season, scoring against the likes of Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle.

Newcastle have some good fixtures coming up against Crystal Palace, Southampton, and an appealing double Gameweek against Leicester and Chelsea. For that reason, it could be beneficial to invest in standout option Aleksander Mitrovic (£6.8m).

Mitrovic has had a fantastic season so far, scoring nine goals in his 12 starts for Fulham in the league. His offensive stats also reflect his potential and ability. This season, amongst all strikers, Mitrovic ranks first first for total attempts on goal, second for attempts in the box and first for headed attempts on goal. Mitrovic could be a brilliant option moving forward.

Callum Wilson

Newcastle are becoming one of the best teams to invest in due to their increasingly strengthening form. Although defensively solid, they also have some very appealing attacking stats. In fact, amongst all teams in the last six matches Newcastle rank first for goals, averaging two goals scored per match.

One way into the Newcastle attack is penalty taker and main man Callum Wilson (£7.4m). This season Wilson has scored six goals and created two assists from his 11 starts. The England back-up striker also proved his explosiveness in Gameweek 14 where he hit a whopping 19-point return for his two goals and two assists.

Other great striker options

  • Harry Kane (£11.6m) – Tottenham
  • Anthony Martial (£6.7m) – Manchester United
  • Eddie Nketiah (6.5m) – Arsenal
  • Kai Havertz (£7.7m) – Chelsea
