What to expect from Gameweek 6?

Using the Official Premier League website and the Fantasy Football Scout members area we look at what to expect from Gameweek 6. The previous head to head records between teams can be really useful in making informed FPL decisions.

Answering the question, what to expect from gameweek 6? This could be vital when it comes to decision making. Deciding on a transfer or captain can sometimes take great thought and with the help of extra factors managers could make better informed decisions in FPL.

Everton v Liverpool

  • There have been 60 matches in the Premier League between these clubs. Everton have won 10, Liverpool 26 and there have been 24 draws. Liverpool won both matches in the Premier League last season, scoring six and conceding just one.
  • Budget enabler Anthony Gordon (£5.5m) has now returned in back-to-back matches registering 14 points in those games.
  • Liverpools Darwin Nunez (£8.9m) is available for Liverpool after a three match ban.

Brentford v Leeds

  • There have been just two matches between these sides in the Premier League. Leeds won one and the other game was a scoring draw.

  • The Blues have kept a clean sheet in each of those three victories.
  • Jarrod Bowen (£8.2m) is yet to score so far this season, however he did score West Ham’s second goal in their 3-2 victory last season.

Newcastle v Crystal Palace

  • Southampton have now won two of their last three Premier League matches, beating Leicester and Chelsea.
  • Wolves have won four of the last five matches against Southampton in the league. The other match finished in a draw.

  • There have been 44 previous meetings between these sides in the Premier League. Villa have won just seven, with Man City picking up three points 28 times.

  • Man City have won all of the last five meetings between these sides in the competition. Scoring 15 goals and conceding just five.
  • Erling Haaland (£11.7m) is Man City’s top scorer so far this season with nine goals. He has registered back-to-back clean sheets in the last two matches.

Brighton v Leicester

  • In the 10 meetings between the clubs Leicester have won seven times.
  • In the previous five matchups the Leicester have won twice, Brighton once and there have been two draws.
