For this article, we will pick five players with under 5% ownership both overall and within the top 10k. Gameweek 33 is still happening but, from last week’s differential picks, Bruno Guimaraes has already replied by scored twice on Sunday for Newcastle.

Using LiveFPL’s ownership figures, here are interesting differentials from the teams that play in Gameweek 34.

Watford 0-4 Manchester City: Raheem Sterling double helps thrash Premier League strugglers

Raheem Sterling (Man City, £10.5m, owned by 2.4% overall)

Man City host Watford, hoping to repeat their 8-0 win of last season. Raheem Sterling has an outstanding record against the Hornets and, in particular, his last three meetings have seen a hat-trick, six goals and hauls of 21 and 17 points. Pep Guardiola’s men are fighting hard to keep their title, whilst Watford looks doomed for relegation.

Timo Werner (Chelsea, £8.6m, owned by 1.9% overall)

A name rarely mentioned in regards to FPL, such has been his poor record in English football. Just nine league goals from almost two seasons in west London. Yet two came in their last Premier League outing, helping defeat Southampton 6-0. It seems logical for a differential punt to be on a team about to have a Double Gameweek, with Chelsea facing West Ham (H) and Man United (a).

Rodrigo (Leeds, £6.3m, owned by 2.0% overall)

Meanwhile, Leeds is unbeaten in four matches and Spanish forward Rodrigo scored in all three victories. With his place secured in the starting XI, Jesse Marsch’s side head to Crystal Palace in a confident mood. One more win should ensure survival and Rodrigo might be their best non-Raphinha source of it.

Bryan Mbeumo (Brentford, £5.2m, owned by 1.8% overall)

Another player in form is Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo. Popular earlier in the season due to playing up front despite being listed as an FPL midfielder, he quickly departed sides as managers grew tired of his blanks. Only one goal arrived between Gameweeks 7 and 32, yet five goal involvements have taken place in four matches. He has more FPL points (29) than both Ivan Toney (20) and Christien Eriksen (17) in that time.
