2. Gameweek 38
Gameweek 38 may seem very far away, but they’ve analysed Manchester City attacking options for Gameweek 1. With plenty out of favour, there could be a budget option to bear in mind. Can we trust Pep’s rotation?
Current Man City attacking options:
Aguero ⛔ Yet to return
Jesus ⛔ Yet to return
Sterling ⛔ Yet to return
De Bruyne ⛔ Yet to return
David Silva ⛔ Yet to return
Mahrez ⛔ Injured
Sane ❔ Out of favour
Bernardo Silva ✅ Playing and scoring

3. FPL Vinnie
FPL Vinnie debuts for the community, with a look at latest ownership levels in the game. For a safe approach early in the season, it could be wise to cover off a reasonable number of these options to keep pace with the pack.
A quick reminder for those building squads: these are all of the 26 players who currently have at least 15% ownership.
These are the players who will harm your rank if they do well & you don’t own them. Probably wise to make sure you have a fair chunk of them, too! pic.twitter.com/Aw2AB21mW5

4. Called It
With 1 week remaining, the community are close to formulating their Gameweek 1 squads. There’s superb graphics once more for Called It, who has opted for a 3-5-2 formation with a big name midfield.
New season is upon us! Exciting times ahead with new players, some old (expensive ones) and a bunch of those unproven ones. I like to start the season "safe-ish", so my draft v1.0 is made of (mostly) of those.
Still many questions here and a ? bench. pic.twitter.com/hrqX1KabCM

5. Strategy FPL
The World Cup hangover presents some major concerns for Gameweek 1. Strategy FPL has identified some high ownership options who may or may not start the season. Who will you be avoiding?
Hall of Fame legend James Egersdorff returns to the preview with his Gameweek 1 guide. Arsenal could be a team on the up, with a new manager at the helm. Should you avoid players from Chelsea and Spurs?

8. YIRMA/Four Four Two
Selecting the expensive Mo Salah in your Fantasy Premier League team will mean a hunt for value elsewhere in the midfield. Fantasy YIRMA has selected five bargain players for your consideration for Four Four Two.
Fantasy football scout: 5 bargain midfielders under £6.5m ?
We all dream of a team of Mo Salahs – but that’s not going to happen in FPL 2018/19. @FantasyYIRMA’s got your back with these budget-friendly midfield picks

Information about the availability of players returning from the World Cup is starting to filter through press releases. Ben Dinnery provides an update on Leicester assets. Keep your eyes peeled to his Twitter in the next 1 week.
Puel admits Jamie Vardy and Harry Maguire are likely to miss the opener at Old Trafford as the pair are not due to rejoin the group until Monday. Mendy and Evans are also major concerns but Demarai Gray could return on Saturday after missing the 1-1 draw with Valencia. #LCFC

Champion gives a warning to those using Twitter as their primary source of advice. Ownership levels can be distorted, with Harry Kane actually being a very popular option within the global game.
Harry Kane owned by 34% of teams yet I have not seen a SINGLE draft team on Twitter containing Harry Kane.
Similar with De Bruyne at 28%.
Twitter is such a small minority.

With 1 week to go, it’s important to have half an eye on captain contenders for the opening gameweeks. Mo Salah is set to be the standout pick, potentially for all three of the opening games. Do you dare go without him?
